Tinted Moisturizer

In the summer, tinted moisturizer is personally my favorite for when I feel like putting on a full face of makeup. It’s super lightweight and usually has SPF in it, which is always a plus. After trying many different options, the Laura Mercier oil-free is my go-to. Although it is a little bit on the pricier side, it has lasted me several months and never caused me to break out (which can be an issue for my sensitive skin). Another option I’ve also loved is from Maybelline, which gives my skin a flawless finish and the protection I need from the sun.

Bronzer

This is probably my favorite part about applying makeup because it always gives you a sun-kissed look. Even in the summer, I brush this in a 3-shaped motion starting from across my forehead, down to my cheekbones and across my jawline. It shapes your face to perfection! I usually don’t have a preference to bronzers, as long as it matches my skin tone. After trying many on the market, here are a few I recommend:

Blush

For my everyday summer makeup, I stick to a cream blush as I notice it stays on longer and looks more natural. I love having rosy cheeks in the summer that make my face look a little sun-burnt. My holy grail blush product is the Glossier Cloud Paint. A little goes a long way, it’s easy to apply, and comes in adorable packaging! I’ve been using the color haze for years but will be trying out more shades in the near future.

Highlighter

This is a product that can sometimes be overlooked, but makes so much of a difference when used. Highlighter is applied to the high points of your face – the top of your cheekbones, the tip of your nose, and across your cupid’s bow. This simple step can brighten up your face and even be worn on a bare face to give you the best dewy look. I use the Glossier highlighter (shocker – another Glossier product!) every day and sometimes get a little more fancy by applying power highlighter on top. The trick here is to apply the cream based highlight first for a more natural look. Then, to add more shimmer, apply the power on top for that extra glow. This combo will have everyone stopping you to ask what your secret to healthy-looking skin is!

Mascara

Mascara is something I probably could not live without. Unfortunately for me, my eyelashes look fairly ordinary, so applying mascara is something I enjoy doing! By simply putting it on, it makes me feel 10x more confident. I’m always trying out new mascaras, but usually go for ones from the drugstore (they never do me wrong). Let me know your favorite mascara – I’m always ready to try new ones!

Maybelline
Volum’ Express The Rocket Mascara ($6.99)

Lips

Lip products have always been a tricky one for me, but no matter what, I always make sure to apply some type of balm or gloss. I feel like they look the best on me and are totally low maintenance. Here are a bunch that I have loved for quite some time:

Fenty Beauty
Gloss Bomb ($19)
Laneige
Lip Glowy Balm ($17)
Revlon
Super Lustrous Lipgloss ($8.49)
Vaseline
Rose Lip Balm ($3.99)
