Spring Break Style

Spring Break: the time we all look forward to, no matter the destination! It’s the perfect week to leave our busy lifestyles and to remind ourselves about what really matters in life…what truly makes us happy. When it comes to packing for spring break or any vacation, it’s always a struggle to pack light but still wanting to look cute (trust me, I can attest to this). Here is what I wore while on vacation in Florida! I aimed at keeping it simple and effortless while still looking girly and fun. These outfits are great for transitioning from the chilly winter months to the spring season we’re all patiently waiting for!

Little Summer Dress

When I found this little piece on sale, I knew I had to have it! Dresses like these are perfect for packing and still look super cute without having to try. I like to style something so girly with sneakers and maybe even a leather jacket to give it a little more edge. This can be styled so many ways to completely match your own vibe!

Jean & Crop Top Combo

I love this outfit because it can easily be styled from day to night. Front-tie tops are my current obsession because they show just enough without looking too revealing. It’s perfect for spending the day in the sun with denim shorts and sandals, but can also be styled for a night out with jeans and a pair of chunky heels. Unfortunately, this top is sold out at Princess Polly, but I found this one which I love just as much, and this one that is so perfect for a night out! My jeans are from American Eagle, which I would recommend waiting for their sales that are always going on.

Coverup & Short Duo

I love this mini dress because it’s perfect to use a coverup (which I did almost the whole week), but also doubles for a little dress that I would wear with denim shorts underneath. It’s such an effortless look and gives off the perfect beachy vibe. Not to mention my obsession with little ties at the shoulders for dresses, like this one and the dress above have!

Fun Pants

As great as escaping somewhere warm can be, the weather can still be unpredictable. It was chilly and 60 degrees most days in Florida, so packing a sweater and pants was necessary. Of course I brought my favorite knit from Princess Polly (which is sadly unavailable) and my favorite fun pants from Brandy Melville. This was so easy to throw on for those chilly days and it made for the perfect outfit for casual days at the beach watching the sunset.

Beach Attire

This outfit is for the warmer days spent at the beach. It’s perfect to throw on to take a break from the sun and grab some lunch or drinks at a local beach bar. You can find these items anywhere or you can even find them already in your closet! All the items I’m wearing have been in my closet forever, but like I said, they can easily be found anywhere 🙂

Swimsuits

I might have a little obsession with swimsuits, but honestly who doesn’t these days?! I usually buy my suits from Target (for classic styles) or ASOS/Aerie (for more trendy looks) because other brands can be so expensive these days. I used to buy from Victoria’s Secret before they stopped their swim line, but good news, they’ll be back soon! Let me know where you buy your swimsuits, I would love to check them out!

Some general suggestions of stores I love to shop at for spring/summer are:

Princess Polly- for girly, fun outfits

ASOS – for trendy and edgy looks (they have the perfects sets, too!)

Forever 21 – for anything super trendy & when I don’t want to spend a lot of money

Brandy Melville – for basics & graphic tees

Abercombie – for shorts, skirts, and sundresses

Urban Outfitters – for when I really feel like treating myself on basically anything, I also love their accessories

Salvation Army – for almost all my denim shorts (I thrift mom jeans and cut them into shorts. Where I found my favorite pair of Levi’s)

I only really shop when items are on sale as well (unless at Forever or Urban)! Princess Polly, ASOS, and Abercrombie always have great deals going on which is what I always look out for.

Hair

Being a girl with naturally wavy hair, it can be difficult to maintain. I cannot live without my Ouai Wave Spray to keep my curls looking defined and to keep the frizz away. Aside from keeping it natural, my go-to looks are two french braids, messy buns, and hair scarves! I personally love the unkept look because it is vacation after all…no stresses here!

Jewelry

If you know me you know my jewelry is my favorite part of my wardrobe. I love to invest in pieces that I can wear on the daily. Here are some pieces I love and highly recommend:

Gem & Company – for layering necklaces & statement earrings (use my code ‘EVANA20’ for 20% off your order now!)

Madewell – for timeless pieces & the BEST chunky gold hoops

Let me know what style is your favorite for spring!
